Peter Gardner – Senior Consultant
With extensive manufacturing experience spanning four decades, Peter’s major focus is on overall business profit improvement utilising lean manufacturing practices.
Peter’s experience in the automotive components manufacturing industry was built through roles in Australia and globally, with a major emphasis on driving improvement activities in manufacturing engineering and quality across the Asia-Pacific region.
Amongst his various roles previously with TI Automotive, Peter held responsibility for over 80 plants globally. During this time his focus was on business improvement through asset effectiveness optimization for the generation of profit and cashflow improvement. Initiatives covered labour productivity, material flow, standardisation of processes, equipment and tooling, supply chain management, and deployment and expansion of manufacturing plants. Whilst with TI Automotive, Peter led the development and implementation of the TI Production System, a company-wide lean manufacturing program.
Peter’s role with Shinka Management includes business improvement coaching and mentoring, lean manufacturing system design and implementation and process improvement. Peter is passionate about coaching and mentoring of corporate leaders and manufacturing plant managers, focusing on business improvement and personal enrichment.
