Gustavo has a versatile understanding of the practical application of lean management across varying departments and industries. His ability to see all aspects of a value stream enables him to thrive in environments of non-traditional applications of lean, including service sector settings.
Gustavo has a high level of experience in consulting to clients in operational excellence through lean management and kaizen. He has also worked in commercial, marketing, sales and operations roles in various companies prior to becoming a management consultant, giving him a broad experience in applying kaizen across all functions of an organization.
In addition to his consulting experience, he has also shared his lean know-how as a postgraduate lecturer, and participated as a speaker in lectures and educational talks.
Gustavo is an industrial engineer having graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and has also completed post-graduate studies in marketing (PUC) and services companies management (UAI).
Gustavo is a native Spanish speaker, and has a high level of capability in English and an intermediate level of Portuguese.

Managed a team of 22 people in the strategic sales division considering key accounts and commercial strategy design. Participated in the rationalization of the sales structure, marketing and commercial partnerships scheme development, and customer/supplier relationship management. Also held positions as Marketing Intelligence Manager, Market Research & Information Manager and Market Research Executive.
