Shoot a video of a process that you intend to use as teaching data.
Analyze one cycle using OTRS10 to create teaching data.
Upload the analysis to OTRS+AI and register it as teaching data.
Select and upload a video to analyze and then select registered data for automatic analysis.
Follow the progress of the video analysis. Once completed, import the analysis into OTRS10.
A process is divided into work elements for up to 20 cycles, and returned together with an AI score and AI time ration.
The Aggregation screen displays the time and the AI score for each element.
The AI score (A to E) and the AI time ratio are displayed for each element.
The AI score is the AI analysis confidence level. The AI time ratio shows gaps between operations.

A major benefit of the application of AI to time studies is that it allows for rapid and high-accuracy analysis of up to 20 cycles of the same process. This can be used to highlight fluctuation and waste that cannot be detected when analysing only two or three cycles of a process.
Analysing the same process performed by different operators
Once teaching data is registered, videos of the same operation are automatically analyzed reducing manual analysis work.

How accurate is the AI engine in analysing cycles and splitting a video according to process steps?
OTRS+AI has proven to be extremely accurate in the automatic analysis of processes in different types of industries and environments, where operators are both stationary and moving around within work cells.
One point to be conscious of is that once the teaching data has been registered, the manner in which the video of the operations to be analyzed is filmed can influence the results. The videos of the processes to be analyzed do not need to be prepared exactly the same as the teaching data video; different shooting angles and lighting will work, and the presence of other people or objects in the frame are acceptable; however the analysis video should be shot such that the operator is in the same orientation as in the teaching data, with as much of the operator’s upper body included as possible.
