Hiroya is an experienced Toyota Production System consultant and kaizen sensei with a career spanning four decades with Toyota Japan.
Hiroya has a wealth of experience in TPS and its application to quality management, kaizen, operation improvement, lead-time reduction and inventory reduction. His career includes roles as Plant Manager for the Gifu Auto Body paint shop and Manager of Paint Engineering Department.
During his career with Toyota, he was a long-term participant and a key member of the All-Toyota Kaizen Promotion Jishuken program spanning multiple plants in Japan. He made active and significant contributions to the workshop program through his excellent ability to expose problems and implement kaizen.
Hiroya is also experienced in leading TPS, 5S and personnel development programs in a variety of industries and provides consulting and training services regularly within Japan and overseas.

Shinka Management – Senior Consultant
Hiroya provides regular TPS and Kaizen training courses and seminars within Japan and overseas as a veteran Toyota Production System leader. He also consults globally with corporates in various industries specialising in process and quality management and kaizen implementation. He is a regular leader of the Shinka Management Lean Japan Tour in his role as a TPS and kaizen sensei.
