Victor is a continuous improvement consultant and process management specialist with experience spanning mining services, manufacturing and hospitality operations.
As a lean consultant, Victor has advised manufacturing and service companies on the development and management of process improvement projects, with a focus on operational efficiency and facilitation of behavioral adherence to best practices to sustain results.
As Head of Continuous Improvement – Operations Division for Komatsu Chile, Victor created and implemented the continuous improvement strategy for the Operations Division, emphasizing process improvement initiatives with the objective of standardizing equipment maintenance and back-office operations.
Through this role Victor developed and implemented a national training program in continuous improvement methodologies, generating process improvement initiatives with the objective of increasing the level of services, improving the availability of components and reducing costs. During this period Victor also led a management project team in charge of creating the “Komatsu Distributor Manual”, a tool that consolidates the key operational processes of the company, and led the Komatsu Way philosophy e-learning project, and promoting the values and beliefs of Komatsu, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
Victor graduated the Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello, Santiago de Chile, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Engineering, and is a Certified Commercial Engineer. Victor has also completed studies in agile project management, process management, strategic leadership and negotiation. Victor is based in Chile and is fluent in Spanish and English.

Created and implemented the strategy of continuous improvement for the Operations Division, emphasized process improvement initiatives with the objective of standardizing equipment maintenance and back-office operations, focusing on the execution of Agile projects that ensure operational continuity and lower the operational costs.
Komatsu Chile – Head of Equipment Sales Administration
Led support team for machinery sales for mining, construction and complementary lines markets. Managed the sales process of equipment with a focus on activities planning, equipment inventory management and creation of financial and administrative reports. Promotes improvements in the digitization of the sales process.
Komatsu Chile – Sales Coordinator of Mining Equipment
In charge of managing mining equipment sales process, managed the administrative “business closure”: administered the purchase of equipment to the factory, requested the assembly of equipment and the purchase of additional elements. Issued sales invoices and prepare sales management reports.
