In order to increase the productivity of organizations, Shinka Management, a global company of consultants specialized in improving management in organizations, offers practical solutions based on management systems from Japan, to improve results through the improvement of processes.
Productivity is an issue that has once again become a topic of discussion in the business sector, due to a recent move in Chile to reduce the standard work week to 40 hours. This change has been a priority for the Government, as indicated in various media by the Chilean Minister of Labor, Jeanette Jara, which has promoted the search for approaches to help shield organizations from the impact of the reduction, should this reform occur.
Given this, the business sector is exploring various ways to deal with this potential new scenario, including new methodologies that help employees not only improve their productivity, but also the competitiveness of the business itself. One of them is the approach offered by the consulting firm Shinka Management, where they advise and train organizations using the lean/kaizen method, providing all the wisdom of Japanese management to different industries.
“Although the working day can be modified by law, productivity is not improved by decree. Work needs to be performed following processes, according to the way things are done. For this, our experience in lean consulting has its origin in the cradle of Lean Manufacturing: Japan. It is a proven methodology, which has given rise to world-class operational excellence in thousands of organizations and whose focus is to improve production systems, eliminating activities that do not deliver value to operations or customers. With this, we seek to eliminate losses and thus increase the value of what is offered to the client,” indicates Gustavo Norambuena, Regional Director of Latin America for Shinka Management.
International Experience as Productivity Consultants
Shinka Management’s Latin American operations are run out of its office in Santiago. The company has a team of highly experienced lean management consultants based in Australia, Japan, South America, North America and Europe, including veteran Japanese Toyota Motor Corporation factory managers and bilingual senior consultants. Shinka Management provides lean consulting and lean training services, and lean management study tours to Japan, to support clients with increasing productivity and competitiveness.
“We make available to companies all the experience of our team of lean consultants, who adapt to the unique and individual circumstances of each organization, supporting them in the development and implementation of processes, systems and leadership, to face the challenges they experience in their operating environment, and to achieve their vision and goals for the future of their businesses,” indicates Gustavo Norambuena.
