The Lean Leadership Master Class is a lean training program led by Hyodo Sensei, a former Toyota factory manager and Japanese kaizen expert.

Hyodo Sensei
Akinori Hyodo is an authority on the Toyota Production System (TPS), bringing over 40 years of experience from his distinguished career at Toyota Japan. During his tenure, he served as the factory manager and director at Gifu Auto Body, a key Toyota plant specializing in the production of the iconic Toyota HiAce van and Toyota Coaster bus.
During his career with Gifu Auto Body, Hyodo Sensei spearheaded the implementation and promotion of TPS, focusing on operational efficiency, process improvement, and workforce engagement. Under his leadership, the Gifu Auto Body factory achieved significant advancements in product quality, earning recognition as one of Toyota’s top-performing facilities.
Hyodo Sensei’s deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application across diverse operations has made him a sought-after mentor and consultant for organizations worldwide.
