Factory and site visits provide insight into prefabricated and modular housing systems, construction automation, advanced building materials and the coordination of design, manufacturing and onsite assembly. Participants will also explore how lean manufacturing, kaizen and Japanese management practices support productivity improvement across the housing supply chain.
In addition to the technical program, the mission includes expert seminars, management discussions and cultural experiences that provide a deeper understanding of the business environment in which Japan’s housing industry has developed.
