Monodzukuri Next 2014
Monodzukuri Next 2014 is a manufacturing tradeshow run by the Japan Management Association (JMA). The event focuses on the integration of design, production and maintenance activities.
Lean manufacturing and kaizen concepts are fundamental to the event and the trade show provides a comprehensive coverage of current practices and supporting technologies in this area.
Monodzukuri literally means to make things (manufacturing) in Japanese, however depending on the choice of Japanese characters can also mean to make/create things/people.
MONODZUKURI NEXT incorporates the following shows:

- Factory & Production Status Visualisation
- Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition Japan
- Infra-Main Tech • Disaster Prevention Japan
- Future with 3D Printers
Monodzukuri Next 2014 will also be held concurrently with a number of other JMA events at Tokyo Big Sight including the international healthcare engineering exhibition HOSPEX Japan, the Japan Home & Building Show, Green Innovation Expo and Agro-Innovation Japan.
The November 2014 Lean Japan Tour will include a visit to Monodzukuri Next on the final day. Those participating on the Lean Japan Tour will be fully supported by Shinka Management to maximise the experience and break down any cultural or language barriers.
