Ronel is a Toyota Production System consultant and expert with 30 years’ experience working for Toyota in Peru and Argentina.
Managing assembly, body shop and painting areas, Ronel has developed unique skills for waste detection and elimination applying TPS philosophy.
Designing and implementing action plans aligned with Hoshin Kanri in which he was involved, Ronel was able to consistently improve plant processes with respect to safety, cost and delivery.
Ronel is a native speaker of Spanish with intermediate skills in English.

Toyota Argentina – Internal Toyota Production System Consultant
Ronel worked as an internal Toyota Production System consultant together with Toyota top management, supporting them with strategy definition (Hoshin Kanri) and deployment across the company, ensuring top management has the correct focus, and empowering managers and associates to select and implement the correct TPS methodologies.
Toyota Argentina – Production Manager Press Area
The main goal of this role was to maintain and improve quality and productivity in the press area. During this experience Ronel created internal groups within the press area in order to analyze, solve and implement improvement opportunities applying kaizen, PDCA cycle, and numerous other lean tools.
Toyota Argentina – Production Manager Welding Area
Focused mainly on quality improvements, this role allowed Ronel to learn how to coach and train a team for implementing TPS.
Toyota Argentina – Continuous Improvement Manager
Through this role Ronel designed and led the Toyota Production System training plan and was responsible for continuous improvement for the whole company. Toyota Corporation recognized Ronel personally for his achievements applying kaizen to the body shop layout.
