Gary has over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering long-term transformation, transition and turn-around programs in a wide range of diverse organisations in manufacturing, processing and service sectors across Europe, North America and Australia.
Gary is skilled in multiple project and change frameworks and methodologies with a proven ability to lead others successfully through the process and achieve rapid, significant and sustainable improvements.
He has experience with lean management and continuous improvement implementation into SMEs, large enterprises, corporates, multi-site networks and end-to-end supply chains resulting in significant improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety, morale and customer satisfaction. He supports the development of flexible organisations leading to greater competitiveness and profitability.
Gary holds a Masters in Science in Lean Operations from Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University.

Gary has over a decade and a half of experience in lean consultancy, based in Western Australia and previously in the UK, specialising in taking lean into less traditional application areas such as service and process industries.
Amongst client work in a consulting role, Gary has designed and facilitated a 30-month intensive executive excellence and lean champions program for a national automotive network, and separately created and delivered a Lean Academy, utilised by Toyota’s network in the United States as well as Akzo Nobel, and collision repairers globally.
Gary has led major change programs across UK and mainland Europe in large clients such as Mars snackfoods, Pedigree Petfoods, Corus Steel, Hertfordshire National Health Service, and various government departments and financial institutions amongst others.
Mars Drinks – Supplier Development Manager
Based with Mars Drinks in Basingstoke, UK, Gary initiated Mars’ supplier development program delivering lean approaches into over 30 first tier suppliers resulting in major improvements in reliability, on-time and in-full delivery and cost reductions.
Gary implemented a direct line feed system resulting in massive reductions in warehousing and inventory as well as supplier rationalisation, demand alignment and scheduling improvements.
Gary also held roles as Supply Chain Integration Co-Ordinator and Plastics Purchasing Manager during his time with Mars Drinks.
