Eric Gaschk | Senior Consultant

Eric is a successful leader and change agent with a strong track record in business improvement, project management and lean six sigma program mentoring and deployment.

Eric has led continuous improvement initiatives in five states and ACT, leading a team of internal change agents that generated over $15 million validated business value since 2011 for Raytheon. In this role Eric coached Black Belts through certification, trained over 325 employees and customers in continuous improvement tools, and managed over 70 improvement projects.

Eric gained his core management skills and leadership experience through his Air Force career as a military officer. His aviation operations roles provided him with considerable experience in planning and leading teams of highly-trained professionals in complex and challenging environments with little margin for error.

Eric’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University, a Graduate Diploma in Computer Studies from Murdoch University, an MBA from Deakin University, an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Bayley Training and Consulting, and a Company Directors Course Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Eric has completed the Raytheon Six Sigma Expert Foundations course (equivalent to Lean Six Sigma Black Belt), supplemented by the Raytheon Six Sigma – Integrated Supply Chain course. He has also completed studies in Principles of Complex Program Management with the International Centre for Complex Project Management, and the Prosci Change Management Certification Program.

Eric is a member of the American Society for Quality and is a Certified Manager of Quality / Organisational Excellence. He is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Shaped the Monadelphous approach to developing and delivering innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve performance, both internally and with customers.

Raytheon – Raytheon Six Sigma Expert / National Lead

During this seven-year role with Raytheon Australia, Eric championed the application of lean six sigma processes across Raytheon Australia to achieve strategic goals, drive change and promote improvement across the business. Eric led a team of up to seven full-time change management professionals. Eric developed and delivered continuous improvement modules for Raytheon Front Line Leader and Project Manager training, and established Raytheon’s National Continuous Improvement Summit.

Raytheon – Manager Performance Excellence, Integrated Solutions

Through this four-year role Eric led corporate improvement initiatives in diverse areas such as IT applications strategy development, enhanced quality systems performance and customer service delivery. Eric achieved more than $1 million validated business value in projects led. Responsibilities included delivering continuous improvement training to over 170 staff, customers and sub-contractors. Eric was 2010 WA state winner of the annual Raytheon awards for outstanding personal achievement.

Jacobs Sverdrup Australia – WA State Manager

Over a period of four years Eric was WA State Manager for JSA, a leading provider of professional systems engineering, project management and supply chain management services to Australian government agencies.

Royal Australian Air Force – Ops Officer, Trainer & Aircraft Navigator

Eric served as a RAAF Officer for 18 years, including a three-year term as a member of teaching staff for the prestigious UK General Duties Aerosystems Course, a year long, Masters-level course in Aerosystems Engineering.
