The Japan Management Association is Japan’s oldest and largest management training organisation.
The Japan Management Association (JMA) provides training services in all management fields, including strategy, human resource development, marketing & sales, IT, R&D, business process reengineering, production and supply chain management. The organisation has worked alongside Japanese industry since 1942 to develop many of the lean management concepts known around the world today.
The Japan Management Association has 2,000 employees across its group. The mission of this group since 1942 has been to contribute towards the promotion of management innovation activities throughout industry.
As part of its annual activities, the Japan Management Association runs many of Japan’s top industry trade shows, including FOODEX Japan (food and beverage) and Monodzukuri Next (manufacturing), HOSPEX Japan (healthcare and engineering), the Japan Home & Building Show, Green Innovation Expo and Agro-Innovation Japan.
Through an MOU, Shinka Management and the Japan Management Association provide mutual support for industry activities and initiatives in Australia and Japan.
The Japan Management Association was created in 1942 to encourage economic development and foster the management capabilities of manufacturing and service companies. The JMA has since given rise to a number of specialist organisations that together form the JMA Group. This group promotes the development of industry through consulting, training and research activities.
